Long before books, Tamil knowledge was scratched onto palm leaves and tied into bundles, so the next person could pick it up and carry on. A skill is the same idea, for an agent: what I’ve learnt, written down so it can do the work my way. Every leaf here is one skill, and the bundle keeps growing.
